Why designer pay is a justice issue. Yes really.

I always feel so fancy when I layer lace on lace! I always feel so fancy when I layer lace on lace! Lace knitting goes back for many years, and I often love knitting lace that looks like it could be from another era.

Do you pile different lace patterns on or are you one at a time?

Patterns shown are #MeditativeShawl and #OolongTank, both available on Ravelry and Payhip.

I actually supported a few testers with this yarn but I couldn't resist knitting up my very own as well!

The linen and wool content in this yarn gives a little more structure and the lace has a bit of a crisper, less drapey look. I really like it and it definitely is a subtle change from the gorgeous Alpaca Silk base that the green sample was knit with.

This one is a little less "soft" to the touch but I am able to wear it next to skin with no problems.

The Oolong Tank pattern is sized for full bust of 30-66" with additional bust shaping to add up to 5" more, and it's available today on Ravelry and Payhip.

Thank you all for your overwhelming love and support and all the kind words, the shares, everything during this anniversary week and also just generally all the time! I am so glad that my patterns are speaking to you all as much as I love them myself.

Today, I'm featuring what I consider to be fancy knits!

Maybe you fancy something a little fancy? While I love designing basics and accessories, the true loves of my heart in my pattern collection have been slightly garments with beautiful design features like lace, puffed sleeves, cables, or ruffles.

They are the most fun to knit up for me, and in my personal life I always wear these types of garments more often than the basics! Give me a cabled or lace garment any day!

What do you think? Are you a basics person or do you prefer to bump it up a bit?
I began my life as a sock designer 2 years ago wit I began my life as a sock designer 2 years ago with the launch of the #BobaTimeSocks.

I've changed and grown so much as a designer, and I know that I'm primarily known as a garment designer now, but socks still have a special place in my heart.

I'll keep designing them for as long as I can because they are truly the one item I wear every day and never have enough of.

Which of my sock patterns is your favorite so far?

All my self-published patterns are 25% off using the code ANNIVERSARY through Friday.
