Coming Home: A Green Gables Collection
Inspired by the Anne of Green Gables novels, this collection is all about coming back to the warmth of the home fire.
Since I was a child, I have loved Anne for the radical empathy and beautiful joy she brings to the world. I love her for the way she transforms the people and the places around her for the better.
She’s always bringing joy and beauty and perseverance to everything she does, even when she is new. Even when she doesn’t fit in. Even when her brain doesn’t work quite like everyone else’s.
As a child, I felt so so seen by her. It was the first time I had seen a character I identified so deeply with, who was forgetful and full of daydreams. Creative and imaginative. Different but finds her way to beloved family. As an adult, I still look up to her as a role model.
This collection is my modern interpretation of Anne, designed to bring little reminders of Anne’s beautiful spirit into every stitch.
I created every pattern in it with my whole heart and all my love for Anne, and for all of you who resonate with her story.
